With all of the innovation happening within Kubernetes and around the Kubernetes ecosystem, sometimes it can be difficult to keep up with all the options for deploying applications to Kubernetes clusters. If you're somewhat confused, you're not alone. This is because there isn't one official tool or method, and the right tool often depends on the role of the person (developer, operator) and where the application is being deployed (on-platform, off-platform, etc.).
