Upcoming System Upgrade

Planned System Upgrade

The OpenShift Online service will be undergoing a significant system-wide upgrade the week of June 2, 2013. During this upgrade process it's possible your application may stop running. We'll be monitoring all applications and restart yours if that happens. We expect downtime for individual applications to be minimal, however we wanted to let you know in advance so you can plan accordingly.

Contact and Help

The OpenShift Online Operations Team will be available during this time to help with any issues or concerns. Should you need to contact the OpenShift Online Operations team, you can reach them via the following channels:

  • Twitter: https://twitter.com/openshift_ops
  • IRC: #openshift room on irc.freenode.net
  • Email: openshift@redhat.com

Thank you for your patience during this important upgrade.

What's Next?

Thanks, this is very good, from now we can know when need to be careful.

Also be very nice when your team publish information what is updated. Like: JBoss AS 7 - JSF 2.1.7 -> JSF 2.1.22

Good to hear! Maybe you can give us insight what these significant upgrades will include?

I second to Eduard....Better billing (some what more understandable ) :) more tutorials for complex scenario, and better support forum (I have to subscribe my own thread after creating one to monitor ..! )

All the best..!

The upgrade are on the openshift hosting part, not likely on the blog/forum part, and I do hope that tutorial can be written without any need for upgrade :)

@Eduard, jigarashah,
We usually post a release blog following the release. Stay tuned for that coming the week of June 2nd as well. It should look like this from last month:
https://www.openshift.com/blogs/new-online-features-for-may-2013
although that release didn't have much but bug fixes.

OK. Good effort.
