Cluster availability region, cluster id, VPN, and user authentication integration are customizable. Users also have the option of project-level network isolation (via the ovs-multitenant plugin for OpenShift SDN). AWS clusters can also leverage VPC Peering.

Red Hat Operations is responsible for provisioning, managing, and upgrading the OpenShift platform as well as monitoring the core cluster infrastructure for availability. They are not responsible for managing the application life cycle of applications that run on the platform.
As an admin user, the customer has the ability to add/remove users and projects. Any changes to the cluster, such as updating authentication integration or VPN settings, can be requested via the support portal.
Updates to the platform will be managed by the operations team and customers will be notified in advance of any maintenance schedules for updates.
Red Hat will provide updates via a custom status portal. The customer enablement team will help you subscribe to status through the web page so you are always informed of any notifications.
