OpenShift Upgrade

OpenShift Authentication Outage

We will be performing maintenance on our Authentication subsystem on Saturday September 29, 2012. The planned outage is scheduled to start at 8AM EDT for 8 hrs. During this time, your application will continue to run, and you will be able to ssh onto your gears for control. However, no other clients will be able to authenticate to the broker/service during this time. That includes rhc command line, web console/site, OpenShift plugins, or REST API calls that require authentication to the service.

OpenShift Security Update Outage

All OpenShift production servers will be rebooted for kernel security update. Reboot will be performed between 10:00 PM EDT and 11:00 PM EDT today.

OpenShift DNS Outage

This is an OpenShift Online outage notification.

Description:

The DNS provider for OpenShift Online will be initiating a maintenance procedure for the *.rhcloud.com domain. For the duration of the maintenance, resource record changes will not propagate and may not be able to be created.

Existing apps should continue to function normally. Access to all non-DNS portions of OpenShift Online should not be impacted.
