How to disable HTTPS?

Code:
KB-E1056
Applies to:
OpenShift
Issue:

When I make a request to my app for the first time using http, it responds with http, but if I put in a request with https, I'm not able to switch back to http (e.g., my browser redirects to https all the time).

Resolution:

See: https://openshift.redhat.com/community/forums/openshift/how-to-disable-ssl-redirect-on-jboss-7-app

By default, all applications are accessible via http and https. You shouldn't have to do anything differently unless you want to force https traffic as per https://openshift.redhat.com/community/kb/kb-e1044-how-to-redirect-traffic-to-https

There is a side affect to supporting both as per https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=825334 When you point your browser to https, then it won't switch back to http until you clear your browser cache.
